Elisabeth Davidson MSc(Paeds), BSc(Chiro), DC, FRCC(Paeds) is a chiropractor and the owner of Inverurie Chiropractic Clinic. She graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1994 with a BSc (chiropractic) and a post graduate diploma in chiropractic (DC) in 1995. She gained an MSc in Advanced Chiropractic Paediatric Practice in 2007 also from the AECC and she is a Fellow and Director of Academic Affairs of the Royal College of Chiropractors' Faculty of Pregnancy and Paediatrics. Originally from Denmark, she has lived in Britain since 1990. Some key areas that Elisabeth is interested in are hypermobility, the treatment of pregnant women and cranial techniques as well as chronic post-traumatic head pain and jaw problems. She has also trained in Sacro-Occipital Technique and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. Elisabeth has worked closely with the local health care community for over 24 years.
She is very busy teaching post-graduate seminars all over the UK, Ireland and Europe in chiropractic care of the pregnant pelvis, neonatal examination and treatment and growth & development of the toddler, and hypermobility and therefore only works a few hours a week in the clinic. In addition she and the clinic is currently involved in conducting research into pelvic girdle pain and treatment outcomes of chiropractic care of babies.
Eleonor Hall BSc (Hons), MSc, DC is from Sweden and has lived in the UK for over 25 years. She graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1999 and has been living in Aberdeenshire since. She is a mother of 4 children and has a interest in family practice as well as sports injuries. She is a keen runner herself and enjoys spending time with her family. Eleonor has done many post-graduate courses including dry needling and treatment of pregnant women and babies.
Rebecca Hillis, who joined ICC in July 2019, is a Glasgow native. Her interest in Healthcare started in childhood, as an avid swimmer, the intense training required many trips to chiropractors, physiotherapists and massage therapists. Competing at the national and international level in her sport, the multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of top athletes is what has inspired her diverse approach to chiropractic. Graduating first from the University of Houston, Texas with a Batchelor of Science in Kinesiolofy (Exercise Science), Psychology and Biology, she went on to pursue her Master of Chiropractic, graduating with distinction from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2017.
Her passion for sport is what has developed her belief that every person and injury should be treated indivicually. Using her knowledge of chiropractic, massage,rehabilitation etc, it is her goal to find the right treatment of theapies that suits each patient individually. She is in Inverurie every Monday and Tuesday and works the rest of the week in Glasgow.
Meet the newest member of our team, Kairit Kostsikaite, also known as Kate. She is from Finland and moved to Scotland after graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2018. She enjoys trying new things and while at university she enjoyed running and playing volleyball. She also has a keen interest in history and likes to travel and explore, and has spent a year studying abroad in the United States. Kairit started 1st of August 2018 at inverurie Chiropractic Clinic. She is currently doing post-graduate training in Sacro-Occipital Technique, cranial techniques and is enjoying treating pregnant women and children.
Rebecca Nekstad MChiro DC is back from maternity leave three days a week, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday and Friday afternoons. She first moved to Aberdeenshire after graduating from The Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2016 with a first class Masters of Chiropractic degree. She enjoys a lot of different sports and has played on several teams, incl rugby, lacrosse and football whilst in university and is learning cross-country skiing. Her real passion is treating pregnant women and children. She has done extensive training in the care of pregnant women and babies as well as dry needling. She has a background in nursing care working with both adults and children. She is hoping to pursue a post graduate MSc in chiropractic paediatrics in the future. She is also a Hypopressive trainer which is a technique for reprogramming the core muscles including the pelvic floor muscles, which are vital for good posture and spinal health.
